"If you are drawing a face, then look in the mirror first so you can see how the faces should look."

Excellent advice from Wesley!

Step 1) After drawing an oval (egg shape), draw a straight line across the middle of the oval. This is where you will draw the eyes.

Step 2) Now draw a line splitting the oval in half from top to bottom.

Step 3) Draw a line that is halfway between line A and the bottom of the oval. This is where you will draw the mouth.

Step 4) Now draw a line across the oval that is halfway between line A and line C. This is where you will draw the bottom of the nose.

Step 5) Draw two lines from top to bottom that are halfway between line B and the edge of the oval. This will be the middle of the eyes will be.

Step 6) Follow the diagram and draw the eyes, nose and mouth of your face where the lines cross each other.

The ears can be placed on either side of your head between line A and line C.

Now the face is finished you can try stretching it or making it thin or really, really wide. Just remember where to draw the lines.
